Stefano Battaglia is a professional tour guide who has pioneered community tourism in his home country Italy and now works in London (UK) to create experiences that bring together responsible tourists and local residents involved in social, eco and heritage projects.​

​Stefano believes in giving visitors the opportunity to feel the soul of a place. In the last twenty years, he has developed experiences and walking tours that focus on showing what is unexpected and meeting those who keep together the fabric of a community.

Operating for a range of national and international responsible tourism agencies, Stefano strives to turn tourism into a force for good by promoting inclusive narratives, implementing practices of sustainability and allowing locals to benefit from the impact of tourism.
